Copper slag is mostly black or brown, the surface has a metallic luster, the internal structure is basically vitreous, the structure is dense, hard and brittle, and the chemical composition is more complex. From the copper content of some in the poor copper ore (Cu <1%) range, some in the medium copper ore (Cu1 ~ 2%) range, some in the copper-rich (Cu> 2%) range, FeSi02, CaO, AL203 content is higher, accounting for more than 60% of the slag, the vast majority of the mineral composition of the iron peridotite, followed by magnetite, there are a small number of veins composed of vitreous body.
